Koosha Dab

Contributor of underwater pictures on this website

Koosha Dab is an underwater and wildlife photographer, who has kindly contributed to many pictures presented in our website. He is also an enthusiastic marine biologist and conservationist working on coral reef studies, participatory zoning of marine protected areas in the Persian Gulf region. Koosha is now the head of Ecology Group at the Center for Sustainable Development and Environment (Cenesta), coordinator for Marine and Coastal Areas for West and Central Asia at the ICCA Consortium, and a member of the team supporting the implementation of Aichi Target 11 through diversification of IUCN governance types of protected areas in Iran. He has authored numerous articles on marine biodiversity and coral reef conservation.
